This is the story of a simple dude dwelling in the most normal places of 4chan (you know, /a/, /c/, /co/, /w/, /v/) but then, tragedy struck. Our hero arrived at /c/ to ask for some Strike Witches pics (That’s the anime in watching right now. It’s cool. I’m thinking of watching OHSHC when I finish with Strike Witches) but instead he found the most unusual thread. Who was Kyonko, why was she with Haruhi and why didn’t our hero know? This thread sparked an interest in our hero’s sleeping interest in Suzumiya Haruhi — Since he finished the anime and the books, he thought no more of it — But alas, unseen content was before his eyes. He had to enter. He did and was greeted by this picture.
“Now,” He thought “Who are these?”
And then, the truth struck him with such force that some of his bones were broken (good thing he had his enslaved white mage with him. Remember kids, never go to 4chan without a white mage spamming “Barrier”). These were genderbending pictures. Now that the obvious had been discovered, he tried to make sense of it:
“O, tell me /c/, who would create such vile images?”
And, in unison, /c/ answered.
“It is not for us to say. Google is your friend”
“Right.” He thought. Google would help. And he did.
Our hero had found answers to his questions.
This ended his journey rather abruptly. He had hoped for it to be more epic and more time-consuming.
“This quest sucked” Our hero said to himself. There was no need to continue in this adventure.
Our hero returned to /a/ and yelled “EPIC FAIL”, to the yaoists who hadn’t answered such a simple question.
Angered, he traveled to Tristan, defeated Diablo, and became the antagonist for Diablo II.

OK, story over. TL;DR version: I went to 4chan and found this project which wants to edit the Haruhi novels and portray all the characters as their opposite sex. And this has created a whole shitload of fanart (and ALL of those pics are of Kyon-chan. AKA Kyonko. AKA Chick kyon.)

“Given Haruhi’s lack of inhabitation, and her general “cluelessness” of gender sensibilities in the first novels, it is not far-fetched to have her counterpart be unwittingly “cruel” to girls, not because Haruki is a MCP, but because he really sees equality in all genders.”
