Hello, you obviously bored reader. I’m here to show you why a pelican would rule in halo 3:

First of all, we need to address the issue of the map. The maps right now in halo 3 almost all of them suck, and some (valhalla, last resort, standoff, high ground…) are pretty good. But not enough. I want a map that’s Blood Gulch good. A map that’s Headlong good. A map that’s Sidewinder good. AND PRETTY FUCKING BIG. This is one of my drawings showing a perfect (in my mind) map:

This map may look like Blood Gulch. That’s because it should. It’s a great map. So, now that we have cleared the map size lets get going to the vehicle size.

As this image can show you, a pelican is no longer than 2-and-a-half scorpions.

Okay, now the best part of the post:

THE HYPOTHETICAL AND EPIC SITUATION WHERE A PELICAN WOULD SAVE THE DAY:

You’re on a 6v6 Multi-Flag game. On the best map ever (because it has pelicans). Three Gates from the Halo 3 OST is playing in the background. 2 men go on the mongoose to the enemy base. You, patiently wait in the base for your cue, along with 2 other guys protecting your base. The men in the mongoose find themselves at the opponents base, having crushed the defenses they grab the flag, but a freshly-respawned enemy kills the driver, and the flag guy is stuck at the blue base (suck it bluetards.[im just in character, i don't discriminate against the blue team{or do i?}]), what do you do? You get on the pelican to save the Flag Guy, with the un-trustworthy ex-driver as a gunner. As a team, you manage to kill all the bluetards and get the flag on the pelican, driving it safely to the Red Base.

PS:BTW Bungie should really make a “Delivery-Man” medal.
