You know what i like? Soundtracks.

Soundtracks are to mainstream music what books are to magazines. Really, I can’t stand listening to pop (unless it’s really catchy and accompanied by a good animation) on the radio and I only download music which catches My (No, I’m not gonna stop capitalizing Myself. I love doing that) attention. But soundtracks… Soundtracks are a different story altogether, no lame lyrics getting into your thinking stream, and, this is best reason, they are consistent, examples? Of course, Monkey Business from Black Eyed Peas. I like My Humps, so I buy the album hoping for some more songs like this. But then i get “Going Going”, “Disco Club” and “Feel It”, now, I’m not saying that’s bad, I’m saying I like consistency. When you download (example) Castlevania:Aria of Sorrow OST, you expect to get an unique kind of music and it is consistent through all the OST. Now, there are some exceptions like Dexter’s OST which includes various remixes, and covers from other artist other than Daniel Licht but there’s always an exception. I utterly despise “rappers” today who just sing random lyrics along to a beat. NWA was a real rap band, and their best achievement was releasing an album with it’s beats, no lyrics. Now, I don’t know why i dislike lyrics, but I’m pretty sure it has to do with Me (Ha, you thought I wasn’t going to do that anymore , didn’t you?) not being able to concentrate when listening to WHEN ANGELS DESERVE TO DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. On the other side, I do like listening to these kind of music, I just don’t have it on my playlist, mmmmkay?

I have some grips about writing GUI but
i would have expected more than just a really large pdf file as
documentation for PyGTK. I can’t seem to find any other files on the
matter. O, Tutorial Writers, Why have you abandoned us? Most
documentation i find is really scarce. I know that them who are new
today will be the ones writing the tutorial tomorrow, but it
s a
little bit too much of a gap between them.

And don’t get all
Ghandi on Me (”Be the change you want to see in the world”)
because I can’t pass information to others if i don’t have it. Would
it strike you as odd if i didn’t? Would you hold it againts Me? Of
course not.

Moving on, I just recently discovered that people
really are using my app (ulc, the live cd editor) and i was aghast to
find it on the linux section of softpedia. Quite interesting. I can’t
help but find it interesting that this people would actually use my
wrinkly, error-filled code (It’s not really error-filled, but it is
somewhat full of what people might call ‘bad practice’). Most things
are done by os.system, but that is the way it has to be for
it to work.

I’m
already writing the GUI for the next version but right now it’s
seemingly impossible to make that damn loading bar progress. No, I
don’t want a pulsating bar. IT SERVES NO PURPOSE!. I want it to load
normally like all bars. Stupid documentation.

You
probably wonder why I’m (You can probably hear Me capitalizing my
name while I speak) ranting about pygtk. I’m not. I’m mad at
tutorial writers, and I am mad at the philosophy “If there isn’t
any, make it Yourself”. I would, generic-elitist, but knowledge has
to come from somewhere. Maybe it

just Me who doesn’t like the documentation (In it’s defense, it’s
large and very well-explained) but the examples there are ~~awful~~
strange.
